GU Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Review

$

Whilst in Waitrose recently I noticed GU Hot chocolates were reduced. I've also noticed the same at Tesco, but surprisingly they were cheaper at Waitrose...not often you can say that!

I've been curious about this Salted Caramel variety for a while so I took my opportunity. It's described as "Velvety hot chocolarte with a smooth salted caramel twist", and cost £1.30 (usually they're around £1.99).

I made it as directed by pouring into a mug and heating in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring, then heating for another minute. Then I topped it up with squirty cream...the full fat way to enjoy hot chocolate! Please do excuse my "tea" cup...I've never drank tea from glass cups and I don't intend on starting! (tea must be drank from china cups only as far as I'm concerned!)

The hot chocolate was very nice...rich and silky, with a thick texture. The salted caramel flavour was detectable but it tasted more of salt than caramel. The overall flavour was of "salty" hot chocolate, if that makes sense. It wasn't bad at all, in fact it was a lovely hot chocolate, it just seemed to be missing the "caramel" element.

Overall, this is a nice hot chocolate but I do feel a bit short-changed from a salted caramel angle.

Tesco Silky & Smooth Milk Chocolate

Since a new Tesco Express opened near me recently I've been trying out a lot of their "staple" products. I was in need of a chocolate fix one night, and decided to give their regular milk chocolate a try since it was the cheapest there for only 79p. I was a little hesitant though, since the Peanut Butter variety was so disappointing.

It's actually not too bad. It's very sweet, but has a certain comforting milkiness and a flavour that reminds me of a (very) watered-down Cadbury Dairy Milk. It makes me wonder if perhaps Cadbury produce Tesco's own-brand chocolate...there's a certain distinctive flavour I can't put my finger on that tastes very "Cadbury".

Overall, this Milk Chocolate isn't the best around, but if there's nothing else available and you need to save the pennies it does the job.

RATING: 7 out of 10.

Betty Bakes Toffee Crisp Gluten Free Slice

Whilst on a long train trip recently I needed a decent snack to keep me going. As well as a huge bag of Pick & Mix, I got one of these Betty Bakes Toffee Crisp slices from the Ikea cafe.

It's a similar concept to Millionaire's Shortbread but with a base layer of crisped rice and chocolate instead. Above this sits a layer of buttery toffee, topped off with milk chocolate. The combination of all three is of course very, very delicious! The toffee layer is very buttery and great quality, giving a really luxurious feel to the bar. The chocolate is delicious and finishes everything off perfectly.

Overall, this is a tasty snack whether you are gluten free or not, and I hope to see Betty Bakes slices become more widely available!

Heidi Espresso Dark Chocolate (Asda) Review

When a new range of Heidi branded chocolates popped up in Asda recently I was very keen to try them. There's some interesting flavors in the range such as cranberry, lemon and mint, pistachio etc. However as I'm slightly addicted to coffee I thought this Espresso flavor would be the best to try first.

Unfortunately, I can't say I was all that impressed with it. The dark chocolate tasted quite mild and cheap - this is certainly not good quality chocolate! It contains only 50% cocoa which may partly explain it, but as well as that the coffee flavor wasn't all that nice either. It tasted like cheap instant coffee.

Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with Heidi chocolates. Since this is my first taste of the brand I'm not too excited to try the rest of the flavours in the range. If you've tried any yourself please do get in touch via the comments!

The Coconut Collaborative Coconut & Vanilla "Snowconut" Frozen Yogurt

Whilst in Sainsbury's recently I fancied something a bit different to a regular ice cream, something light and refreshing. So instead of the usual Ben and Jerrys or Haagen Dazs (which are always on special offer making it hard to break my addiction to them!) I went for this dairy free frozen yogurt alternative. It's dairy free because it's made with coconut yogurt instead of regular milk yogurt. Yes...for those who may be unaware you can now get yogurt made from coconut milk!

I sneakily ate some at the Sainsbury's cafe, which I know is strictly verboten but I had paid for a coffee so I wasn't totally taking the Mick! Anyway, I can report that the ice cream...er...frozen yogurt was very tasty indeed! It's definitely not as full on as a tub of Ben and Jerry's, it tasted light and refreshing, and not overly sweet either. It didn't feel "heavy" like regular ice cream, which is no doubt due to it being dairy-free. It doesn't contain sugar and is sweetened with grape juice, so if you're trying to cut down on sugar that's another bonus.

Overall, this is a tasty and refreshing frozen yogurt, and would probably make a perfect partner to fresh raspberries. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

Chupa Chups Air Heads Fruit Candy (UK)

Recently it was announced that the U.S "Air Heads" sweets brand would be launching in the UK by Chupa Chups. U.S. brands launching here can often be hit or miss, so I was curious to see if these were just hype or if they're actually any good.

Well, I can say that they're certainly very tasty sweets. They're like Skittles with a similar chewy texture, but taste a little more fruity and tangy. I really enjoyed them, but would I buy them over Skittles? Probably not to be honest, as they're not different or unique enough.

Overall, as nice as these are I'm not sure I can see them lasting. We already have Skittles and other similar chewy sweets on shelves, so I don't think there's a gap in the market for these. Time will tell I guess!

Chai Tea Latte (Tesco) Review

I've been curious about this chai tea latte for a while now. I've seen it in tesco for ages, so when it was reduced to 50p recently I decided it was about time I gave it a try!

It's a basic milky chai tea, but cold of course. And to be honest it doesn't work very well as a latte drink. Chai tea should be warm and comforting, the spices just aren't as tasty with cold milk. There was a notable lack of tea flavour too.

Overall, a pleasant milky drink but a bit lacking in the chai department. I would recommend spending your money on a Costa or Caffe Nero chai instead!

Magnum Signature White Chocolate Review

$

Whilst perusing B&Ms range of imported snacks recently I spotted some new guys on the (chocolate) block (har har!). Magnum have now launched their signature chocolate in white, milk and dark varieties. By signature chocolate, they of course mean the chocolate used on their Magnum ice cream sticks.

Initially I couldn't decide which one to go for - I wanted to try all three but that'd be greedy! - so I went for the White since it's always been my favourite Magnum. Like the sticks, the chocolate contains Madagascan vanilla extract and vanilla bean pieces.

Opening the wrapper, I was surprised to find the chocolate split into two huge blocks. Which is probably just about right...one block is the perfect size for a creamy sweet hit! Both had the signature "M" stamp printed on.

The chocolate tasted delightful, it's that same creamy, vanilla flavoured chocolate you get on a white Magnum, but in a more intense and concentrated form. The vanilla makes it more moreish than it probably should be, but it's intensely sweet. The creaminess is very soothing, and after scoffing one large block I felt very satisfied, so much so that I saved the other one for later...something I rarely do!

Overall, this is great chocolate and tastes the same as that on a Magnum, so if you've always loved the chocolate on Magnums you may want to give this a try! That said, with it being nearly summer I think it'd be better to buy the real thing!

RATING: 8 out of 10.

Price. 99p at B&M bargains (90g bar). Suitable for vegetarians.

Hotel Chocolat Carrot Cake Chocolates Review

$

Whilst in Hotel Chocolat recently I noticed they had several new products as part of their summer range. As always I wanted to try them all, but with the selector offer I limited myself to three (very difficult!) The most unique were these carrot cake chocolates, described as "carrot ganache layered with a walnut, hazelnut, cinnamon and nutmeg praline sealed in a milk and white chocolate vanilla seed shell, decorated with naturally coloured white chocolate". At this point everyone's probably thinking "carrot ganache?!"....surely vegetables and chocolate don't mix? Well, they actually do and very successfully!

According to the pack, Britain first embraced the carrot cake during wartime rationing, and it's now loved more than ever. I have to say I'm very partial to a good carrot cake...it's the one cake I'd break any diet for. Do these chocolates live up to the much-loved British treat? Well, yes and no. They're a different beast and lack the cream cheese icing that makes carrot cake so tasty, but they do have the lovely flavours of cinnamon and nutmeg carrot cake is so well known for.

I couldn't really taste the carrot in these to be honest, which isn't bad as I don't think a strong carrot flavour would work with chocolate. The ganache just  tasted sweet (it contains 4% carrot concentrate) and blended well with the spiced praline, complimented beautifully with the vanilla chocolate. The flavours all combined to make a spicy, creamy chocolate that is very pleasing on the palate. I ate some of these in caffe Nero washed down with a chai latte, which was the perfect accompaniment.

Overall, these are very tasty and unique. I'd recommend everyone who likes spiced chocolates try them!

RATING: 8 out of 10.

Now, as good as these were, there were other flavours in Hotel Chocolat's summer range I liked even more. Stay tuned for a review of the Rhubarb and Custard chocolates!...

New Aero Mousse Chocolate Bar Review

$

Here we have the latest chocolate bar to shake up the confectionary world, the imaginitive new Aero Mousse! Please do forgive my sarcasm, it's just that this bar seems a bit plain and pointless to me, but nevertheless I still had to give it a try when I spotted it in Boots recently. According to the press release, it's being marketed at women, because of course no man would ever eat such a light chocolate bar. Only Yorkies for us please!

Opening the wrapper and placing the bar next to it I was struck by how small it looked. I presumed this is because the mousse adds extra to the weight of the bar...but it only weighs 34g which doesn't seem a lot! I'm not sure how much a regular Aero weighs these days as I never buy them, but I'm pretty sure it's more than 34 grams.

Anyway, the front of the pack gives the calories for half of the bar...because of course any self respecting woman would only eat a measly 17 grams!

Being the manly man that I am though, of course I scoffed the lot. And it tasted very pleasant indeed. It had that unmistakable Aero taste we all know - milky with a decent cocoa flavor, and very sweet of course. I couldn't really tell the mousse layer was there...it tasted like a smooth chocolate paste, maybe slightly softer, but nothing that really stood out. Overall the bar was nice enough, definitely lighter than your average chocolate bar. But it didn't do much for me.

I'm not sure I'd recommend this Aero to be honest, but I'm biased because I prefer higher quality chocolates nowadays. This is just too sweet for me, and I'd rather spend 69p on something else to be honest! I also can't help thinking it'd have been better with a hazelnut mousse filling instead of plain chocolate.

RATING: 7 out of 10

Price: 69p at Boots.
Suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk.

Have you tried this new Aero Mousse? If so what did you think? Let me know in the comments!

Hotel Chocolat Rhubarb & Custard Chocolates

Following on from my review of the new hotel Chocolat carrot cake chocolates, part of their new summer range, today we have rhubarb and custard - another much-loved British treat. These chocolates are described as "rhubarb ganache layered with custard flavoured white chocolate, sealed in a milk and white chocolate vanilla seed shell decorated with naturally coloured white chocolate". According to the pack, "in the 1839 opium war, the Chinese tried to defeat the Brits by holding our rhubarb to ransom"...I never realised we loved our rhubarb so much!

Rhubarb has a tendency to be a bit  tart for some, no doubt why it works best when balanced with the creaminess of custard. These chocolates contain 3% rhubarb concentrate, which is enough to give a sharpness that blends nicely with the chocolate. It works beautifully! I couldn't stop scoffing these; the sharp rhubarb flavour combined with creamy white chocolate was extremely moreish. I'm not sure it tasted of custard exactly, but it had vanilla and cream flavours in spades.

Overall, these are fantastic chocolates and ones I would highly recommend. I'm probably biased as I love the tart flavour of rhubarb, but they were definitely my favourite of the new hotel chocolat summer selector range I've tried so far.

Hotel Chocolat Mango White Chocolates

$

I've already reviewed hotel chocolat's carrot cake and rhubarb and custard chocolates recently - both part of their new summer range - and the final review in the trio is these mango white chocolates. Now these aren't specifically British inspired like the aforementioned treats, but they're just as tasty and delicious...kind of like Solero ice cream in chocolate form!

They're described as "mango ganache sealed in a white chocolate shell, decorated with naturally coloured white chocolate". Mango concentrate makes up 8% of the ingredients, which is a lot of mango! Perhaps explaining this is the blurb on the pack: "our rabot estate is overflowing with mangoes - we mourn for the ones tragically squashed underfoot"!

Mango isn't a flavour I've often seen paired with chocolate, which is a tragic shame as it works so beautifully, especially with Hotel Chocolat's creamy white chocolate.

The mango ganache here is perfectly blended, it's sweet and fruity, combining with the white chocolate to create a soothing tropical flavour. If you've tried Solero ice creams that's what these will remind you of, but with the added deliciousness of white chocolate!

Overall, these are fantastic chocolates and Hotel Chocolat just keep excelling at creating innovative and tasty combinations. If you like fruity chocolates then seek these out!

Haribo Tangfastics Frenzy Edition (New Flavours!) Review

Whilst in Sainsbury's I spotted these new limited edition, or rather "frenzy edition" Haribo Tangfastics. (Many thanks to Katherine from Grocery Gems for alerting me to these - check out her review of the Starmix variety here!). As much as I enjoy Starmix I love the sourness of Tangfastics more so I held out until I could find this version. The flavours are all tropical and completely different to regular Tangfastics, and include passion fruit, mango & pineapple, grapefruit, peach, pomegranate, mango, watermelon and passion fruit & peach. What's odd is that the cherries are now pomegranate flavoured...I've never had a pomegranate cherry before!

All these random flavours just add to the fun of course. The cola bottles now taste of watermelon, and along with the pomegranate cherries they seemed to make up most of the bag. They were very nice but I preferred the other flavours in the mix like mango, grapefruit and peach etc. This is definitely a very tasty mix of flavours, and dare I say may be even better than regular Tangfastics!

Overall, these are a a fun limited edition, if you're a fan of sour sweets keep your eyes peeled for them! I've only spotted them in Sainsbury's so far but apparently Primark also sell them near the tills.

The Raw Chocolate Company Vanoffee Bar

Recently, I undertook the mammoth task of giving up sugar for a while. Being a longtime fan of new snacks and sweets this hasn't been an easy task...temptation lies on every corner! So do forgive me if there's been a lack of snacks posts recently! I'll still be posting reviews I've got in the archive but after that...who knows. I may start featuring only healthier snack products. Time will tell!

As part of my "healthier" snack sampling I tried this bar of "raw cacao confection vanoffee" from the raw chocolate co, which I found in a health food store for 99p. It's basically a raw chocolate bar made from cacao butter, Lucuma and coconut sugar. So not exactly sugar free, but coconut sugar is supposed to be healthier than refined sugar and is low glycemic, plus its paleo approved if you're on a paleo diet. This chocolate is also vegan, dairy free, contains no gluten or soya, and is of course raw. So it certainly ticks all health boxes!

What the heck is a "vanoffe confection" though? Well, it's basically a raw version of white chocolate. The Lucuma, which is a "subtropical fruit native to Chile, Ecuador & Peru", imparts a sweet, almost vanilla caramel flavour, which I presume is why they've called it vanoffee. The coconut sugar enhances the toffee like flavour even more. The high cacao butter content means the chocolate melts in the mouth beautifully, and overall it tastes like a more luxurious cross between white chocolate and Caramac. Make no mistake though, this is far better than any "real" white chocolate could hope to be!

Overall, I can only recommend The Raw Chocolate Company based on this bar. I haven't tried any of their other chocolates yet but they do some interesting stuff with different flavours such as goji berries, mint, orange etc. I've seen some of their bars in Boots, but I'm not sure if Holland & Barrett stock them yet. To find out more check their website here which includes information On where to buy (they currently have a sale on with up to 50% off!)

The Licktators Marshmallow Law Ice Cream Review

$

As many of my followers will know, I'm currently on a sugar-free kick, so today's post is one from the archives. However I'm still snapping lots of pics of new snacks in supermarkets which you can find on my Instagram page, please do follow to keep up to date with the latest snack finds!

I've been itching to try this new ice cream from new ice cream company on the block "The Licktators" ever since they popped up in the Co Op recently. Their ice creams seem to be exclusive to the Co Op, I've only seen them there so far, if you've spotted them anywhere else please let me know in the comments. They do some interesting and uncommon flavours such as custard, cinnamon doughnut, and more.

Indeed, they seem to pride themselves on their interesting flavours - here's a blurb from the tub "The Licktators are independent British ice cream revolutionaries liberating the world from ordinary ice cream with their sub zero collection of original British licks".

They're definitely proud Brits, boasting that their ice cream is "made in Britain to an original recipe with British milk and cream".  Even opening the lid, I was greeted with the slogan "Lick for Britain". Of course, I was only too happy to oblige!

Thie ice cream is described as "marshmallow flavour dairy ice cream with pink and white marshmallows"...sounds simple, but marshmallow flavoured ice cream is something I don't think anyone has ever done before? At least not in the UK...us Brits are so boring!

The ice cream tasted very sweet and had a pleasant marshmallow flavour, although I'm not quite sure I can describe it exactly. I know marshmallow is actually a herb, but generally commercial marshmallows taste sweet and non descript. This ice cream tasted of something else ...it was unusual but still tasty. The marshmallow pieces added a nice chewiness, although I felt there weren't enough of them and they got a bit lost in the ice cream. I think this ice cream could have done with something extra to jazz it up a bit, like some chunks of chocolate, fudge or nuts. I guess I'm just used to ice cream loaded with extras, like Ben and Jerry's!

Overall, grumbles aside I think this is a decent ice cream. I like that The Licktators are trying out new flavours and using fresh ingredients, and fully British too. I hope to see more of their unique flavours in shops!

Price: I paid £3 for this tub at The Co Op on a special offer, but they're usually 4.99. 😕

Tesco Crunchy Sweet Potato Slices Review

$

0

As part of my healthy eating drive recently, I've been trying some healthier snacks from the supermarkets. Luckily, it's getting easier to find healthy stuff thanks to a stream of new products from the various new paleo/raw/vegan companies that are constantly springing up. It seems Tesco are getting in on the act too, not only have they recently ditched a lot of sugary drinks from their shelves, they've also increased their range of fruits and nuts for snacking. They're also promoting their new vegetable crisps, which you'll find near the checkouts in many Express stores. They include Beetroot slices, which sounded horrible to me so I went for these sweet potato slices...ahem...crisps instead.

They're basically slices of sweet potato that have been baked until crunchy. There's no salt or oil added, just pure dehydrated sweet potato. I guess they thought these don't need any flavourings since the natural sweetness of the potato is flavour enough.

I enjoyed them, they certainly make a decent crunchy alternative to unhealthy crisps, but they were a bit flavourless. They were filling enough and certainly good if you crave a bit of crunch, I just think they could have done with a little salt or some herbs to make them more interesting.

Overall, I think these crisps have scope to be improved upon and maybe we'll see other varieties from Tesco in future. For now they're simply a carb snack only for the health conscious, certainly not crisps worth cheating on Pringles for!

RATING: 7 out of 10.

Joe Delucci's Coconut and Berries & Cream Italian Gelato Ice Creams

Before I started my sugar free health kick, I went out in style and bought loads of these Joe Delucci ice creams while they were on offer for £2.99 at Tesco. I heard about them thanks to my fellow snacks buddy over at Reaching For Refreshment (check out her review here), and they sounded so good I just had to track them down!

Joe Delucci's do lots of interesting flavours such as rum and raisin, tiramisu, mascarpone, apricot, hazelnut etc...sounds good eh?! Check out their website for more info and where to buy. Tesco currently only stock the Pistachio, Berries & Cream and Coconut varieties, but hopefully they'll include more flavours in future!

Berries & Cream:

I wasn't expecting to love this one to be honest, I've had fruity ice creams before and they usually don't do much for me. However this one was divine! The ice cream tasted extremely fresh and creamy, with the berry ice cream being extremely fruity and also very fresh tasting. It's one of the most realistic tasting fruit ice creams I've ever had, in fact. Simply delightful! 9 out of 10.

Coconut:

This was the one I was looking forward to most and boy was it worth it. Again the ice cream was extremely creamy, not too heavy but light, with the delicious coconut giving it the most amazing flavour. I couldn't stop eating! It tasted fresh, light and creamy, and is a perfect summer ice cream. Dare I say it might even be good mixed with the berries and cream variety! 10 out of 10.

Overall, these are some fantastic ice creams from Joe Delucci's and hopefully Tesco will stock more flavours from them in future. Just a shame I can't have any right now since I'm avoiding sugar!

Have you tried these delicious ice creams yet? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!

Francois Pralus Le 100% Cacao Criollo Review

$

0

Continuing on with my journey into the sugar free side of life, I've decided to invest in some good quality 100% cacao chocolate bars to keep me sane when cravings hit. As much as I love Hotel Chocolat's 100% cacao bars, they're a bit pricey for the amount you get so I decided to go one better and get the good stuff from websites like chocolatiers.co.uk (I highly recommend them for quality chocolate!) and cocoarunners.co.uk.

I found this bar of Francois Pralus 100% cacao on cocoarunners.co.uk, and for a very reasonable £4.50 (when you consider that Hotel Chocolat charge around £7 for similar bars that contain less grams) I decided to order one. I've tried similar bars from The Grenada Chocolate Company before but fancied something perhaps a little milder and less acidic. The reviews for this suggested it might be what I was looking for.

Well, I can say that it's certainly milder than some 100% cacao bars but it still packs a strong, acidic cocoa punch. It's very flavoursome indeed, more like a fine wine than something to munch on mindlessly. It certainly gave me a much needed chocolate kick to help me cope with my new sugar free diet! A few small squares were enough, there's no way I could eat more than that without it feeling like overkill. This is something I'll savour with a cup of quality coffee in future. In fact it gives a hefty caffeine kick all by itself so it's not a bar to eat late at night!

Overall, this is great quality bar from Pralus and if you're tempted by "the dark side" of chocolate it's definitely worth a try! Now I'd like to hear from my followers...have you tried any 100% cacao bars you've enjoyed? I wecome any recommendations!

New Nestlé Caramac Giant Buttons

$

Last week, Nestlé UK announced the launch of new Caramac Giant Buttons, apparently the first product extension in the brands history (although they've strangely glossed over the fact that they produced a Kitkat Caramac in the mid 2000's, as well as a Caramac Breakaway).

The Caramac name apparently comes from an amalgamation of the word caramel and Mackintosh - the company that originally produced Caramac before being taken over by Nestlé. The bar has been a staple of newsagents for a long time indeed, and as many will know it has a buttery, almost fudgey caramel flavour, although unfortunately it's gotten a lot sweeter over the years. The original bar actually used to contain butter, treacle and condensed milk, but unfortunately these new giant buttons don't contain any of those ingredients...boo! :(

Apparently 10 buttons equals one serving, which doesn't seem too bad an amount compared to some products (*cough* half a tiny Aero Mousse! *cough*)

The buttons are very substantial in size indeed, and have a somewhat chalky appearance. They smelled strongly of butterscotch.

They were very, very moreish, I found it easy to munch through loads at once, although they are quite sickly in excess. Theyr're definitely ones you'll want to share, even if sharing is an alien concept to you! They'd be a particularly good snack to take to the cinema.

Overall, although the ingredients have changed a bit and these aren't as glorious as the original Caramac bar used to be, they're still a good snack and bring something different and tasty to the snacks world. I have a feeling they're going to be very popular.

Cadbury Milk Tray New Flavours: Apple Crunch, Salted Caramel & Truffle Heart

$
0
0

Recently, Cadbury's PR sent me a huge box of the new Cadbury Milk Tray flavours to review, I wasn't too excited about the prospect to be honest because as we all know Cadbury's stuff just isn't what it used to be. The new flavours are Salted Caramel Charm, Apple Crunch and Chocolate Truffle. Not the most inspiring flavours, but at least Apple is a flavour not often used in chocolate!

Unfortunately all three were pretty rubbish.

The Apple Crunch is described as "Apple flavour white chocolate truffle with a cinnamon crunch" and has been "specially crafted to celebrate 100 years of delicious Milk Tray moments". Cutting into it didn't excite me much...no crunch to speak of, it just looked like a pale cream filling. And that's how it tasted...very mild, not much flavour, pretty boring really. It's unfortunate because it did have potential to be nice, what flavour there is was quite mild and subtly pleasant, you can taste the cinnamon, but it just doesn't stand out much. This could have been so much nicer! 6 out of 10.

The Salted Caramel surely couldn't go wrong...could it? Well yes, when it's not even a "proper" gooey caramel but just a hard toffee! That's exactly what this was; a regular hard chewy toffee disguised as something special. I couldn't taste the salt at all, although I hate hard toffee so I probably didn't chew long enough to taste any. Very disappointing. 4 out of 10.

Last and definitely least, was the Chocolate Truffle Heart, which I already knew was going to be rubbish. It tasted exactly as I expected...like nothing in particular. There was hardly any distinction between the outer waxy Cadbury (*cough* Mondelez! *cough*) chocolate and the inner truffle. It was just an amalgamation of sweet waxiness that was so boring I spat it out on principle.

The rest of the selection was the usual Milk Tray stuff...fudges, caramels, hazelnut, orange, strawberry, praline etc.

I'm sad to say that Milk Tray, like many formerly great Cadbury products, has gone to the dogs. The selection is uninspiring, overly sweet and with poor quality chocolate. Spend your hard earned cash on Lindt, Hotel Chocolat or Green & Blacks instead. Your other half will thank you for it!
